Toumani was born on October 31 1990 in Mexico City. He completed a diploma in photography taught by the Academy of Visual Arts AAVI in Mexico City, which he concluded in 2013. Following this, he completed a degree in Applied Arts at the University of Toulouse 2 - Jean Jaurès in Toulouse, France, with a year of exchange through the Erasmus + program, at the Escola Massana in Barcelona. He finished his studies in 2017.
